Adopt a Pet!

Pet of the week...

September 17, 2014

Bully Breed Rescue would like to introduce Hope... Christopher Reeve’s once said, “Once you choose hope, anything's possible.”. Last year we chose Hope.

Unbelievably, little Hope was found on the side of a busy road along with another dog who was hit by a car. No one came looking for her at a local animal control facility and it is believed she was dumped. Truly a “pocket” sized girl, she weighs only 37 lbs and is estimated to be around a year old – yes, she is full grown. Since she has been with BBR, she has had the best medical care, training and all the love her heart can hold. And now it is our hope that she will have a great home.

Hope is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm/lyme tested negative, dewormed, fecal tested, microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. We know there is someone out there who is just waiting to love this little girl. We can all confirm that she’s a snuggle bug who loves to be held and loves human affection. Hope would prefer to be the only pet in her new home.

Hope is located in Norwalk, CT but available for adoption in CT/New England/Tri-State areas. The first step to adopting this beautiful soul is our adoption process. Filling out our application here and submitting it to review is a requirement: http://bullybreedrescueinc.org/adoption-form/

If you are interested in this dog or have any questions, please contact BBR at bbrct@yahoo.com. Adoption application, references, adoption fee and home visit required.

Bully Breed Rescue Inc. is a volunteer and donation supported registered 501 (c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs that are collectively referred to as Pit Bulls. "Pit Bulls" are the most controversial breed of our time; continually being maligned in the media, and commonly being abused and neglected in communities all around the country. While they are frequently categorized as vicious and dangerous, for anyone who knows the breed, this can't be any further from the truth. Our goal is to help give these precious misunderstood dogs a second chance at the wonderful life that they deserve by placing them in forever homes. All of our dogs have been temperament tested and we try to provide honest and complete information on each dog. We operate on public donations.  To adopt one of our adoptable bullies, an adoption application, home check, and references are required, along with an adoption fee of $200 dollars. Adoptions are based on interaction between the potential adopters and the dog. Our goal is to place a dog with the perfect family to ensure a forever loving home.
