Adopt a Pet!

Pet of the week...

April 24, 2014
Gus is at the Easton Animal Shelter and he needs help finding a home.

Easton is one of our states smaller shelters and doesn't get a lot of exposure - let's change that! Gus is a 5 year old boxer/shepherd (it's a guess) mix and he's been waiting for a home for several months. Gus loves to play and go for walks. He really enjoys being around people. Please share him so he can go home soon!

Easton Animal Shelter is now located on Morehouse Road. It is a small shelter but state of the art and brand new. The ACO’s just adore this sweet girl and cannot wait to find her a special place to call her own. If you are interested in adoption, please contact EAC at 203-268-9172 and set up an appointment to meet with Gus today! Please keep in mind that kennel life takes it toll on a dog and they have tons of energy pent up. They will be an entirely different dog in a home setting and usually settle in after 6 weeks time. Don’t be alarmed if your new addition sleeps a lot at first. Returning to home life is overwhelming and some dogs are so relieved to be out of the shelter that they sleep for what seems like days.
