The family-friendly New York/New England regional Beatles-themed festival billed as "Danbury Fields Forever" has expanded to two days this Summer in celebration of The Beatles 50th Anniversary. It will "come together" on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Ives Concert Park in Danbury, Connecticut.
The widely-popular, multi-generational Music, Foods & Arts Festival is in its third year, and will feature 10 bands per day playing the music of The Beatles, solo material and songs from the 60s. Acts include The Hofners, The Oh Nos, The Mystery Tour, Fools On The Hill, Rotary, Studio Two, Beatlehead, Genetic Control, AfterFab, the Way-Back Machine and the national touring group Beatlemania Again.
Ives Concert Park is located at 43 Lake Avenue Extension on the campus of Western CT State University in Danbury, CT. Along with the expansion of the festival from one day to two, there will be more Beatle and memorabilia dealers and vendors, exhibitors, attractions, kid-happy activities, along with a larger variety of food options available.
